Share Market

Dear colleagues,

Recently, after my buy call for Hindalco & Sterlite, many of us had bought them for short term. Large number of people including the participants of the recent Bahrain Workshop in October were able to make 10% profits in just 1 day!
Effectively, this is the 4th time that we have got 10% profits in this year. There are still two more months in this year and if we are lucky, there might be atleast one more opportunity for 10% profits.

Great rally on Friday and Nifty ended almost 160 points higher.
On Friday, the US and European markets were mixed.

This shows that patience to wait for the right opportunities pays rich rewards.

My M&M is very close to 10% profits and it may give me 10% profits if the markets move a little more higher.

Rob Janoff, designer of the Apple logo
The Newton Crest: 1976-1976

The first Apple logo was designed in 1976 by Ronald Wayne, sometimes referred to as the third co-founder of Apple. The logo depicts Isaac Newton sitting under a tree, an apple dangling precipitously above his head. The phrase on the outside border reads, “Newton… A Mind Forever Voyaging Through Strange Seas of Thought … Alone.”

When Jean Louis Gassée (executive at Apple Computer from 1981 to 1990) was asked about his thoughts to the Apple logo he answered:
One of the deep mysteries to me is our logo, the symbol of lust and knowledge, bitten into, all crossed with the colors of the rainbow in the wrong order. You couldn't dream of a more appropriate logo: lust, knowledge, hope, and anarchy.
There are many theories about this logo and many of them are just that. Find out the truth, read the interview with Rob Janoff, the designer of the original Apple logo, who will tell you all about his design.

Why Java Logo is a Coffee Cup?

Java is an island, not coffee,
Java is a place from where coffee is exported to USA for many years. So in USA sometimes coffee is referred as java and the beans are call java beans.
Sun Microsystems, renamed OAK to 'JAVA' with some changes and launched it in the same year. Developers around the globe immediately found Java's potential and the WWW got its new look and Java took the world by storm
Java is a type of coffee, some ppl say "would u like a cup of Java" so I guess it's coffee, does it matter as long as it works? I don't understand the ? really.
In 1990's they tried to develop a portable application that can run on any micro chip. Not surprisingly, the team chose C++ to accomplish this task. But soon they found that there are many features in C++ that prevented it from being PORTABLE.
This may be the relation between Java and coffee cup
just that they produce coffee and common use has made java another word for coffee.

Dear collegues,
Long term investors must continue to invest as per their plan.

JUST Buys as per technical analysis are:
Hindalco & HDFC Bank
The above can be bought with a 5% stop loss.
Nifty ended marginally higher yesterday in Muhurat trading.
As of now, global cues are extremely positive. All the markets are up between 3-5%.

I am still holding the other two stocks - HDFC and Titan. I will wait for 10% profits.

I have been writing in my blog asking to buy certain stocks. If you have not bought at that time, you may have lost an opportunity. Buying at the right time is important for short term trades.

My M&M shares have appreciated by a good margin. I am hoping that there is a significant rise in our markets tomorrow and my 10% profit level is reached. I will be putting a sell order at 10% level just in case it rises tomorrow.

Let us see what happens tomorrow.
